    Paddy Dooley - Hobart Hurricanes

    Paddy Dooley has an interesting story. He was working as a Lawyer when his cricket dream took flight, the Brisbane Heat picked him up in BBL 11 where he performed well as a covid replacement. Since then Paddy made the move over to the Hobart Hurricanes for BBL 12 where he was the top ranked spinner for the tournament taking 19 wickets in 10 matches at 12.79 with best figures of 4/16 dismantling the eventual champions Perth Scorchers. Today he is the Hobart Hurricanes main spinner and has showed his hand with the bat as well being very handy in the lower order. One day we all hope to see as an Australian cricket player.

  • Josh Brown of the Brisbane Heat

    Josh Brown - Brisbane Heat

    Like Paddy Dooley, Josh Brown’s cricketing career is a unique story. He has been working as a bat maker for Queensland local heroes, Cooper Cricket. He crashed onto the scene with a match winning knock of 62 from 23 balls for the Brisbane Heat against the Melbourne Renegades. This lead to Adam Gilchrist describing Brown as “his new favourite player”. Since then, Josh has solidified himself in the Brisbane Heat side at the top of the order. His hitting prowess highlighted with a staggering 57 ball 140 against the Adelaide Strikers in a Challenger Final. Following up with 38 ball 53 in the Final to seal victory for the Brisbane Heat to claim their second BBL title over the highly successful Sydney Sixers at the SCG.

    Corey Rocchiccioli - Melbourne Stars

    Corey Rocchiccioli is a dominant red ball off spinner for Western Australia in the Marsh Sheffield Shield. Corey Joined the Perth Scorchers ahead of BBL 10 as an injury back up for Ashton Agar before he made the move to the Melbourne Renegades for BBL 12, making his T20 Debut and asserting himself as a reliable white ball option. Leading into BBL 13 Corey was involved in what can only be described as a trade where he moved to cross town rivals, the Melbourne Stars in exchange the Melbourne Renegades received Adam Zampa, and took a wicket in his first over in his debut game for the Stars at the Adelaide oval against the Adelaide Strikers.

  • Clint Hinchliffe of the Melbourne Stars

    Clint Hinchliffe - Melbourne Stars

    Clint Hinchliffe was a talented young athlete having to choose between football and cricket as a Teenager. Clint represented Western Australia in the under-19 State competition where he claimed the player of the tournament in 2016 joining famed names such as Adam Gilchrist, Usman Khawaja and Travis Head, he smashed 446 runs at 55.75 and took 10 wickets at 17.5. Clint made his first class debut for the Cricket Australia XI in the 2017-18 JLT One Day Cup taking career best figures of 4/71 where he played all 6 games of the season finishing as the leading wicket taker in the squad. Since then, Clint has represented the Perth Scorchers and the Melbourne Stars in the BBL with his best figures being 3/19.

    Brooke Guest - Derbyshire County Cricket Club

    Brooke Guest is a Wicket Keeper-Batsman that started his professional career at Lancashire County Cricket Club in the UK. He was loaned to Derbyshire County Cricket Club for the 2020 English Summer where he forged a name for himself. He is now contracted to Derbyshire where he bats at 3 after a break out summer in 2022 where he scored 4 centuries, established himself as the first-line keeper and Derbyshire’s number 3. The 2023 season brought the joy of a career high 145* against Durham, leading his side to a smashing victory in the County Championship and also captained Derbyshire’s One-Day side.
